About This Event
Hare Krishna Melbourne North invites you to celebrate Sri Krishna Janmashtami, the appearance day of Lord Krishna, at The Heritage Reception in Epping on Saturday 5 September 2026, from 5pm to midnight.
The evening centres on the darshana of Radha Damodara, with a Jhulana (swing) for the Deities' pleasure, cultural performances, kirtana, and personal arati tray offerings you can make yourself. Delicious prasadam is served throughout.
This is one of four Janmashtami celebrations Hare Krishna Melbourne holds across the city on the same day, serving Melbourne's northern suburbs.
