Basmati Grocery Mart

We bought buffalo milk on 12/02/2026 with an expiry date of 17/02/2026. When we tried to boil it on 14/02/2026, both packets were already curdled (दुध फाटेको थियो). It was disappointing, especially since the milk is expensive. We called the store twice and provided our name and number, but there was no follow-up. As Nepali customers, we try to support Nepali businesses, but the product quality and customer service were very disappointing.

I paid $73 for just 5 basic items, which I found very unreasonable. As a Nepali customer, we come to buy Nepali products to feel connected and to support our own community. but the pricing feels excessively high and disappointing. While I understand there may be import costs the prices seem inflated compared to the value received. Supporting community businesses should not feel like being overcharged. I hope the store seriously reviews its pricing policies.

Loved this Nepali grocery store .The chicken momo (8848)was delicious and the goat meat even better — fresh and tender. Super friendly staff and great service. Definitely my go-to for Nepali food! 🇳🇵🥟🐐 specially very happy with momo😁

I recently visited Basmati Grocery Mart and noticed some new faces. They were very kind, helpful, and welcoming. I visited on October 1st at night, around 9 to 10. During my visit, I had a small issue with meat, and one staff member—though I don’t remember her name—handled it so gently. She solved the problem with great care and spoke very politely with customers. Her welcoming attitude truly made the experience excellent.

Ordered Goat and Bhuttan mix online for delivery on Astami, although their busiest time of the year got everything delivered well packed and safe on my door next day on Nawami. Quality of meat was great. Please keep the quality and service same. Very impressed with the service and quality of meat.
