Today I bought a Jeera drink from Namaste Indian Grocery. I had already consumed a small amount when I later checked the bottle and clearly saw that it was expired. I immediately spoke to the staff at the store. One staff member (wearing glasses) started arguing with me instead of addressing the issue. He said that drinking an expired product does not cause any problem and refused to accept the mistake. I would like to ask the store owner whether this is acceptable according to food health and safety standards. Selling expired food or drinks can be harmful to customers’ health. If the staff are not aware of food safety rules, I strongly suggest that proper food safety training be provided to all employees to avoid such situations in the future.

I recently purchased Rasogolla and Bikano Fruit Cake, and to my surprise, both items have the exact same batch number, manufacturing date, and expiry date. Additionally, the Rasogolla packaging shows conflicting dates between the outer cover and the sealed container. There was noticeable gas formation inside the container, and the Rasogolla tasted sour, indicating possible spoilage.

Poor customer service I say because it happened to me twice in a month… NO Hi or No Hello to me even when I say hello to the staff as I walk in the store; plus the staff continue to unpack and stack items on the shelves ignoring customers waiting at the counter to check out. Then the cost of the item which I purchased was 6.90 and I paid $20 but he returns $13 without saying sorry I don’t have a change/cent 10.i understand if it’s the case. I hate these type of people bringing their practices even miles away from their home. Either give 13.10 back or say sorry over keeping my 10 cents for your conveniences.
