About the show
SaVinay Entertainment presents AbhangWari — a celebration of Bhakti through music led by National Award-winning singer Mahesh Kale. ‘Abhang’ are devotional songs in praise of Lord Vithoba (a form of Krishna) and ‘wari’ evokes the spirit of pilgrimage. The performance blends deep-rooted devotional repertoire with captivating stagecraft to create an immersive spiritual and musical experience.
Program & experience
A concert of traditional and reimagined Abhangs performed by Mahesh Kale and accompanying musicians.
A theatrical, pilgrimage-like atmosphere that highlights the cultural and spiritual context of the Bhakti tradition.
Designed to be emotionally engaging and accessible — "Marathi or not, you'll still feel Vitthal" — welcoming audiences of all backgrounds.
Show duration: approximately 2 hours 30 minutes including an intermission.
