Shree Shakti Durga Puja 2026

Shree Shakti Association presents its annual Durga Puja across two days at Sheehan Stadium, St Francis Catholic College in Melton West. Day one (Saturday 10 October) opens at 9:30am with Shashti Puja, followed by Shaptami Puja at 10:30am, Shaptami Pushpanjali and Arati at 11:30am, Ashtami Puja at 12:30pm, Bhog Distribution from 1:00pm, Ashtami Pushpanjali and Arati at 1:30pm and Kumari Puja at 2:00pm. The evening continues with Sandhya Arati at 5:30pm, a cultural programme from 6:00pm and meal distribution from 9:00pm.

Day two (Sunday 11 October) begins at 10:00am with Shandhi Puja, then Nabami Puja at 11:00am, Nabami Anjali and Arati at 12:00pm and Nabami Hom at 12:15pm. A cultural programme runs from 1:00pm, with Dashami Puja at 3:00pm, Debi Boron at 3:30pm, Shindur Khela at 4:00pm, Dhunuchi Naach at 4:15pm and the vote of thanks and wrap-up at 4:30pm.

Shree Shakti is a community organisation dedicated to the worship and understanding of Shakti, the divine feminine, and runs regular pujas, bhajans and discourses alongside its festival programme. The association is a two-time winner of the Narayani Namastute Global Durga Puja Award for Best Innovation and Creativity (2023 and 2024).
