About This Event

Gujarati garba legend Shri Atul Purohit performs live in Melbourne on Friday 21 August 2026, the first of two consecutive nights at Event Central at Caribbean Park in Scoresby (the second night is Saturday 22 August). Doors open at 5:30 PM and the main event runs from 6:30 PM for around three and a half hours.

Atul Purohit is known worldwide for his voice, his traditional folk repertoire and the stamina of his live band, and the Melbourne show is staged as a full Navratri-style celebration: nonstop garba and dandiya, traditional dress, and a crowd that treats the floor as the main event. Premier Tickets lists the show in Gujarati and suitable for all age groups.

General tickets start at $35.00 through Premier Tickets, with a separate ticket type for each of the two nights, and children up to 8 years enter free. A booking fee may be levied per ticket, so confirm the total before paying. Tickets are non-refundable once purchased, with no exchanges or cancellations, and booking fees are non-refundable in all cases. Bring a printed ticket confirmation for scanning plus photo ID for verification.

The venue is Event Central at Caribbean Park, 1280 Ferntree Gully Road, Scoresby VIC 3179. The Melbourne dates are part of Atul Purohit's 2026 Australian run, which also takes in Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Sydney, presented locally by Global Indian Entertainment.
