Consecrated in 1994 on a 15-acre spiritual and cultural precinct, it is described by the society as the largest Hindu temple in the Southern Hemisphere. Alongside its pooja calendar and festivals such as Aadi Pooram, Vishnu Pavithrotsavam and Brammothsavam, it runs a children's school, bhajan and yoga classes, a Hindu library and museum, and function rooms.
