ISWA Sangam 2026 — Harmony of Heritage, Fusion Fiesta

Sangam is the Indian Society of Western Australia's flagship cultural showcase, returning on Sunday 9 August 2026 with the theme "Harmony of Heritage - Fusion Fiesta". The programme runs from 4:00pm to 7:30pm at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on Mounts Bay Road in the Perth CBD.

The afternoon is built around two strands. The first is a run of State and Regional cultural presentations, in which community groups from across India's regions stage their own music, dance and creative pieces. The second is a set of Fusion Medley performances, which deliberately blend those regional traditions together to mark unity and diversity within WA's Indian community. ISWA sums it up as "one stage, many cultures, endless memories" - a celebration of culture, music, dance, creativity and community spirit.

The event is ticketed and booking is online through Ticketek; early bird pricing was promoted ahead of the show. ISWA is a not-for-profit run entirely by volunteers for the welfare of people of Indian origin in Western Australia, and Sangam is one of its two flagship community events alongside the ISWA Diwali Mela.
