Indian stand-up star Prashasti Singh makes her Melbourne International Comedy Festival debut with Divine Feminine, an acclaimed hour of sharply observed stand-up performed in Hindi.
Prashasti always wanted to live the life of a man. Now, inching towards 40 while pretending to be 30, she can finally tick that dream off the list — but instead of joy, she finds herself wondering whether it was worth the price. In this brand-new show, she revisits her life choices and hilariously, meticulously assigns blame to the women and men who shaped her into who she is.
