Shararat Sufi Night

Shararat Sufi Night is a mehfil-and-masti evening on Melbourne's Docklands waterfront, pairing the timeless beauty of live Sufi music with a modern social atmosphere. Expect live Sufi band performances, soulful vocals, and a curated playlist of Sufi, Bollywood, Punjabi and fusion favourites running through the night, with delicious food and drinks available and an ambience built for photos. The organisers pitch it as a welcoming space to connect with Melbourne's South Asian community.

The event runs from 8:00 PM until 2:00 AM at Pier 17 Bar & Grill, Shop 16-17, 28 Newquay Promenade, Docklands. Dress code is smart traditional or smart casual — kurtas, shararas, suits, sarees and other elegant attire are encouraged.

General admission tickets start at $33.08 including Eventbrite fees. Private booth and table packages are also sold, listed up to $1,801.35, and include private entry, free entry for you and your friends, a choice of drink packages, table-served food and a private bartender; the organisers invite you to DM them on Instagram to book a booth and avoid fees. Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event.
